Sports / Leisure

Run Talk Run

Description:Run Talk Run exists to make running and mental health support more accessible and less intimidating. We offer a free weekly 5km run around Oakwood for all abilities and a safe and supportive space to talk about how you are really doing.

Tetsudo Martial Arts - Oakwood

Description: A Martial Art that enables you to improve your fitness, strength, flexibility and confidence. Tetsudo incorporates a blend of combat skills and artistic movements.

Crafts / Hobbies

Oakwood Art Group

Description: Art club for local people with some ability already, not classes. We are a friendly group who love painting, drawing, pastels etc. Everyone brings their own materials (and refreshments) and works on their own projects. Experienced members advise when asked. We have occasional visiting artists who hold demonstrations and workshops. Please note that at present we have a waiting list, so please email if you would like to be added to it, or to ask any further questions.
